Whipped Body Butter
An easy DIY recipe excellent for any skin type and completely natural ingredients.
- ½ Cup Shea Butter
- ½ Cup Cocoa Butter or Mango Butter
- ½ Cup Coconut Oil
- ½ Cup Olive Oil
- Peppermint Essential Oil
In a double boiler or glass bowl, combine all ingredients together except the essential Oil. Bring to medium heat and stir constantly until all the ingredients are melted. Remove from the heat and let slightly cool. Move to the refrigerator and let cool for 1 hour. Use a hand mixer to whip for 10 minutes or until it is fluffy. return to refrigerator for 10-15 minutes to set it. Store this in a glass jar with a lid. Use as you would use a regular body lotion. If
your home stays above 75 degrees, it may soften and need to be kept at
the fridge, but it will stay whipped at a temperature lower than that.
